Today, October 4Th, it is "World animal Day", so I thought it was a good day to make an Happy announcement regarding Daisy. Maybe you remember daisy, I wrote about her being for adoption a couple of weeks ago, she was living on a supermarket parking lot, and to my huge surprised my post at the time didn't received any comment, except the one from Joelle which was the person asking for help on the behalf of Daisy.Well, yesterday, Joelle, sent me an email telling me :
It's official! Daisy has been rescued from Food Club and is now with C.O. guests, Leslie and Rob. They spend their days on the beach and Daisy gets to swim, walk and sleep under her lounge chair. They will be there until next Monday. I'm told Daisy is a very happy, well- behaved, affectionate girl. Perhaps you will see her again if you visit C.O. sometime before Monday.
That's a great news. The matter of fact is that I knew since already few days that Daisy had been adopted, as Joelle informed me through email :
My friend Leslie will be coming to C.O. on Oct. 1. She will pick Daisy up at Food Club that afternoon and keep her with them for the week. On Oct. 8 she will escort Daisy to Miami with her. A couple days later she will again escort Daisy to her new home in Toronto with Laura and Richard. Leslie's husband works for American Airline and she gets to fly for free! We've still got to pay for Daisy but it's really good to know Leslie is willing to help and has connections and influence with AA. (Gotta keep her happy and volunteering for SNOB!) She is so excited that she can help Daisy, Laura and Richard. Richard is a vet in Canada who does lots of rescue there but he and Laura love St. Martin, vacation there 3 times a year and now they want to save a life from their favorite place to be. Daisy has had a rough life devoid of the human companionship, something she really yearns for. She's such a people-oriented dog. But Daisy has become the luckiest girl in the world with the help and concern you've all had for her. All your good thoughts and positive vibrations made Daisy's story, a story with a very happy ending.
The new owner already adopted a puppy in St Maarten, called "Mullet". They are really good people and true animal lover. You won't have any doubt about it after watching the video here below... Prepare some tissues and enjoy... Turn on your volume !...
There are some wonderfull people out there !.....

Awesome news. I am sooooo glad that Daisy found a home. If it were up to me, I would adopt all the dogs that need homes but unfortunately I can't (at least not right now) but I still worry about them. After reading about Daisy's need for a home, all I could do was think about her and feared that she would get hurt in that parking lot. Now I can stop worrying thanks to the wonderful people who are adopting her and to those that are helping to get her to her new parents.
Thanks Philippe for brightening MY day!
